Serves 10
Ingredients:
- 4 lb turkey roast
- Onion and garlic powder
- Salt and paprika
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- ½ cp sherry
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ cp packed brown sugar
- 4 tsp yellow mustard
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Wash and place turkey in baking pan
Lightly season with spices
Smear crushed garlic over turkey
Pour sherry cooking wine and soy sauce over roast
Cover tightly and bake for 2 ½ to 3 hours
Then
Remove roast from oven
Preheat oven to broil
Remove cover from roast and cut shallow slits, 1 inch apart across top of roast.
Broil 3-5 minutes until sugar mixture starts bubbling and caramelizing.
Remove from oven, cool and slice for serving
